We hope anyone who will see the smile of this little girl will stop and listen to her cry for help.
Little Asya, was born in Russia on 7-28-2000. Her birth mother left her in the hospital after giving birth. This little girl doesn't understand yet that her entire life is in our hands. She desperately needs immediate surgery but unfortunately the orphanage does not have the money to fly her to a hospital located in Moscow. They need $1,000 in order to fly the little girl and start the operation. That is why, we want to inform anyone who is willing to offer support and hope that all together we will be able to help her. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. We will give full information about how your money was used.
Recently, Ark Mission completed the adoption of a child from Russia with Down syndrome. All adoptions are special, all adoptive families are special but we felt particularly Blessed to be a part of Zack's adoption. The letter below was written by Sarah, the 11 year old sister of Zack.
Zachary, a Russian baby that has Down syndrome, is a blessing that came into our lives. He was lost waiting to be found. God knew that someday we would have Zach in our family. God expected it but our family had no idea what was coming.
On a Saturday in March, some very special ladies in northern Vermont were hard at work in assembly-line fashion. They belong to the Ladies' Fellowship group of the Wolcott Church of the Nazarene and were working to send an Easter greeting to the 3-7 year old children at an orphanage in Eastern Europe. The ladies filled 144 decorated bags with coloring books, crayons, stickers and, of course, Easter candy, inserted a personal Easter greeting (in Russian!) and tied them with ribbon.

Happy Valentine's Day! February 14th is the day when your heart speaks and rules! Celebrate this day with your loved ones, be happy and please do not forget about these children who live in the orphanages and who long for parental love. This article is dedicated to all of them!
The holiday season is not only a time of celebration with family and friends, but also a time to help the needy, especially the children. While celebrating, we can't forget about those who are not as fortunate, about those who do not have family, friends, home, and a turkey dinner on Thanksgiving or nicely wrapped gifts under the Christmas tree on Christmas Morning. Each year we try to provide charitable relief to one particular orphanage from the foreign countries we work with. This project is called “Christmas Wish of an Orphanage.” This year we chose to help an orphanage from Kazakhstan that has about 260 children of pre-school age. We asked the orphanage administration what the orphanage's “Christmas wish” would be. First of all, they were thankful.
