Orphans who Fight Life Threatening Diseases
NATASHA
M.
Natasha M is 17. She is an orphan as her parents lost their parental rights. She lived in an orphanage but now lives by herself.
Five years ago she already underwent treatment for acute lpromyelocytic eukemia at leukemia chemotherapy unit of Children's hospital No.1 in St. Petersburg, Russia. She now had to return to the hospital due to relapse. Natasha needs help with everything: paying for medications and tests, and purchases of clothes and food. She also needs to pay for her apartment.
This girl really came through hell. During the course of treatment (chemotherapy and marrow bone transplantation) she even lost one eye and instead of a real eye she has a prosthetic eye.
Current immunophenotyping test for the minimal residual disease showed that Natasha has three defective cells in her bone marrow.
There are no guarantees that Natasha's body once again will respond the same way to chemotherapy. Natasha is in a remission but she needs any bit of help. She is a beautiful child. Please help her.
