Ark Mission Undergarment Drive

Several months ago we asked families to donate undergarments to orphaned children. This it is one of the biggest items that is taken for granted when people think of donations.

Children need undergarments as a necessity and basic hygiene precaution. Kim Fury Ark Mission's special needs program manager wrote an article with the request for donations. As a result, we received over 500 packages of undergarments! This was such an amazing feeling to see these packages come in to our office and by the end we had a whole room filled with colorful boxes! We spent the whole day sorting, and packaging undergarments into bigger packages to be sent to the orphanages. It truly felt like Christmas with all these wonderful donations that are going to make a big difference in children's lives. They will be able to be comfortable, warm, and will feel how much other people across the continent care about their well being.

We sent out "Thank you" cards to all of the families that helped us get to and surpass our goal of 500 packages of undergarments. Unfortunately, some of the packages did not have names and a return address for us to send "Thank You" Cards. Therefore, Ark Mission would like to thank all of the families that participate and donated! It means a lot to us, but it means even more to the children that we helped!
