Winter of Dreams 2007!

The Time of Year When Dreams Become Reality!

The holidays are nearing and we are all getting prepared to go out shopping for presents, decorate our Christmas trees, we make plans for New Years parties, and set our New Years resolutions.

Ark Mission, Inc set a new goal for our winter project for the year 2007.
All of us have certain memories of our childhoods and one of the most vivid ones that every child has is the smell of the pine tree in their school or house. The smell of goodie bags that have Russian chocolate candy and tangerines. Unfortunately, children in orphanages do not have the opportunity to experience these simple pleasures of Christmas and New Years. This is why we want to help them, and make their dreams come true!

A Snowflake Twister of Holiday Events

Ark Mission believes that we can make this Christmas and New Years a very memorable experience that children can hold in their minds and in their hearts for the entire year or lifetime!

One of our biggest goals is to create a New Years ball where children can dress up in costumes, enjoy a nice holiday dinner, play games and receive prizes for children who win. We hope to provide a wide variety of presents to give out to 4,500 children in more than 200 orphanages and foster homes in Russia and Kazakhstan.

We also want to make it our goal to help children see the circus for the first time or arrange entertainment like a magician or a clown that will come to the orphanage and bring those wonderful smiles to the children’s faces!

Be Santa for One Day and Give a Child a Present of Happiness!

The power of one is important but the power of many can accomplish extraordinary heights. This is why Ark Mission would like to ask you to help us make these goals a reality and bring a magical Christmas and New Years to the children in Russian and Kazakhstan’s orphanages. Every little bit of help is appreciated and makes a big difference!

Here is what you can do:

  1. Donate new or old Halloween costumes (please don’t send scary costumes)
  2. Donate warm clothing, toys, simple projects that children can do
  3. You can give us your help and  ideas of how we can make this a truly amazing holiday

All of us have the power to help these children make new memories of the winter holidays that will stay with them for many years to come!
