Prom – project

The education is a need and a request from the society. For the children in orphanages, the educational process is more difficult because of the substandard living conditions. Even though the school financially resources are too little, there are orphans eager to learn, with ambitious and dreams.

Keep going at school, trying to do their best and to get good grades, many of the abandoned children reach the moment of graduation. Living in a world full of temptations these teenagers have been resisting the idea of abandoning school and they had decided to go until the graduation. Without a family support, they had made this important decision by themselves. This is why they are stronger and they deserve our help. It's our honor to try to help for all their efforts and determination.

The goal of our project is to raise money and presents for a special event in their lives: the prom. This event needs our contribution to make it happened. It's a special moment in every teenager's life and it has to be possible. They deserve our attention and our support so much! Helping in organizing their proms, is only a way to show them our consideration and to reward them for reaching this stage. They will be grateful to every person who donates money, cloths for the special event (dresses, suits), shoes, or any other presents. It is going to be a special time for all teenagers filled with the joy for reaching the graduation, but also a sadness time, because that, the future is so unpredictable!

May be the next day, they have to leave the orphanages, going who knows where... For most of them this is going to be the last chance of being together, celebrating their achievements. Nobody knows what the future is going to bring…Let's make them feel special for this special occasion! At least this we can do! Great souls with hopes and dreams, they deserve not only a beautiful prom, they deserve a better future.

Letter from the
Older Girls

We have received a letter that almost brought tears to our eyes. It was a letter, written by a group of the older girls, who live in one orphanage abroad. We would like to tell you how we have received it and share this letter with you. Recently, our regional coordinator has visited the orphanage (which is by the way a great orphanage for school age children, located in the Eastern Europe and we have some older girls from this orphanage on our photolisting). When our coordinator was leaving the building, one girl has approached her and told that she has a letter that she and her girlfriends has written and she is asking to take this letter and to mail it to America...
