PLAYGROUND - project

Think of your favorite childhood memory… Every child loves spending time outdoors, playing with friends under the sun, running or jumping, swinging away, and playing in the sandbox! This is a ordinary summer day, filled with joy and happiness, for most of the children.
But is not the same reality for every child, at least not for the abandoned children who live in orphanages in poor conditions.  Even though spending time with friends in parks and in playgrounds makes their little problems temporarily disappear, very often the kids are confined into the orphanage buildings. Why? Because they don’t have playgrounds and parks to play in. This needy is the reason they have to spent time inside when they should be enjoying outside activities.
Knowing this, Ark Mission has decided to make every child smile! We started to build playgrounds for the orphanages that we support! So far, we have five in progress, but hope to continue this trend until every orphanage has their own little getaway place! This will greatly benefit all of the orphans and caretakers! We took many photos outside of the orphanages, and hope that by the summertime; they will all start to look like the playgrounds kids dream about!
If you understand their need and you’re willing to help, you will join us in making a difference. The orphans need our support, and this will be possible only if we contribute together.
Let’s give their childhood a chance!
And what can be more touching than bringing big (often toothless!) smiles upon their faces?!

- Playground price is $ 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 / each orphanage.
- Installation fee is included

Letter from the
Older Girls

We have received a letter that almost brought tears to our eyes. It was a letter, written by a group of the older girls, who live in one orphanage abroad. We would like to tell you how we have received it and share this letter with you. Recently, our regional coordinator has visited the orphanage (which is by the way a great orphanage for school age children, located in the Eastern Europe and we have some older girls from this orphanage on our photolisting). When our coordinator was leaving the building, one girl has approached her and told that she has a letter that she and her girlfriends has written and she is asking to take this letter and to mail it to America...
