Beds for Tots
A project to help improve the lives of a group of orphaned children in Kazakhstan.

Adoption ARK, with help of sponsors, has sent $9,000 to the orphanage and the orphanage was able to purchase 20 bunk beds (double row), 100 pillows and 2 refrigerators. We consider this project completed because by our information the orphanage was able to satisfy their need of beds with help of our sponsors, with help of Adoption Ark and with help of other sponsor.

Dresses project

Thank you so much to everyone who donated dresses 2005. It was the happiest time in the orphanages the moment the children received the gifts.
One of our last year projects was named “I want to be a princess”. It’s goal was  to collect and send special gowns for the New Year’s Eve celebration to a Russian orphanage. Thanks to our sponsors, we were able to send many packages to the orphanage and to surprise many children with beautiful fluffy dresses.

BOXING SCHOOL

Thank you all who supported us in developing the boxing school project!

It was a real success and one of the most exciting programs our organization, with our sponsor help, developed in the last year. Starting out as a project designed to help hi-active children from orphanages in positively consuming their energy, this program was a tremendous success. The boxing school was more then a sport project, it was a chance for children to change their future.

Tae kwon do – project

All over the world the children love sports. They love being active and consuming their energy positively. When we have been organizing the boxing school, there were many boys interested in tae kwon do and karate classes. The orphanages employers have found two amazing men who decided to spent their time setting up martial art classes.

PLAYGROUNDS - project

Ark Mission proudly announces that in fall 2005, we built playgrounds in two orphanages. Thank you all for support!
Think of your favorite childhood memory… Every child loves spending time outdoors, playing with friends under the sun, running or jumping, swinging away, and playing in the sandbox! This is a ordinary summer day, filled with joy and happiness, for most of the children.

Heating system baby houseS

Thanks to our sponsor’s donation ($ 2000) in 2005, we succeed in improving the heating system in one orphanage in Russia. The orphans and the staff are thanking them for their support. They will never forget you!

HIV POSITIVE KIDS

This year, we received hundreds of letters from orphanages, hospitals, and children's shelters with the hope of finding friends and sponsors.
Each letter asked for different kinds of help. Many of them can not solve their problems alone, and greatly appreciate all the help that they can get.

Special formula for children

Thank you very much for your donations received in 2005!We still need your help. There are many babies in Eastern Europe that need lactose free infant formula. This is a common problem for infants all over the world. However, here in the United States , lactose free formula is easily accessible and reasonably priced. In Eastern Europe , when you can find it, lactose free infant formula is very expensive. Igor is one of many babies in Eastern Europe that requires a special, lactose free infant formula. At 11 months old Igor weighs only 10 ? pounds because so little of this special formula is available.

Summer Program 2005

We would like to introduce you to the Summer Program of 2005. We had a successful program in 2004, and wish to continue our journey. This is a great opportunity for families in the US to meet Russian and Ukrainian orphans. The families will have a chance to spend three weeks with the child, and really get to know their unique personalities! The children who participated in the program in 2004 could not even dream up a better summer!

Dream Vacation 2004

We are pleased to inform you that Summer Program Dream Vacation has been launched and the first group of orphans has safely landed here in the United States. We would like to thank our sponsors, volunteers, and organizers.

ASYA FOUNDHER FOREVER FAMILY

Some time ago we had a story "Shout for Help" in the News section. It is still there, on the website. It was a desperate cry for medical help for a little girl, living in an orphanage of Southern Russia. She was diagnosed with trachea-brachial fistula, she had trouble breathing and needed an urgent medical help. Many people called us about little Asya, offering help.

ZACH ADOPTION (article from Sarah, our daughter who is 11)

Zachary, a Russian baby that has Down syndrome, is a blessing that came into our lives. He was lost waiting to be found. God knew that someday we would have Zach in our family. God expected it but our family had no idea what was coming.
